You will make a set of three seed heads and/or flower garden ornaments in this one day workshop which runs from 10am - 4pm.
In the morning we will sculpt with clay to make seed heads and flowers (initially I will guide everyone step by step through the process of making a poppy seed head) and after lunch we will paint on the green and bronze glaze (this is called raw glazing).
The cost of the workshop is £110 which includes the firing of three seed heads and the metal rods to go with them. If you find that you make more seed heads on the day, then its a small cost of £5 per additional piece to cover the cost of firing and a metal rod.
I will provide tea, coffee and a snack. Please bring a packed lunch. Also bring an apron and wear old clothes and closed toed shoes.
If you have any seed heads or flowers that you would like to bring along for inspiration please do!

If unfortunately you do need to cancel for any reason, I will do my best to move you to another date. I may not be able to offer you a full refund depending on the time frame. Please give as much notice as possible, so that I can offer your place to another student. If a replacement student is found then you will receive a full refund.
4 weeks or more - 100% refund or transfer to another date.
Less than 4 weeks - transfer to another date may be possible if I can find a replacement.

If you intend to make seed heads or flowers using the techniques I have shown you during the workshop, please be considerate and do not sell your work due to copyright.
